The Fisherman and the Sea Princess A traditional Japanese tale about a young fisherman whose life is changed by a journey under the sea. DAVID MAZZUCCHELLI received a grant to live and work in Japan for six months, where he learned more about the inspiration for The Fisherman and the Sea Princess, the character Urashima Taro. His work has been published by Nickelodeon Magazine and DC Comics and in his own self-published magazine, Rubber Blanket, as well as in books and magazines in several countries. Currently working on an original graphic novel, David lives in Manhattan.
