The Hungry Horse
An Estonian tale of an enchanted horse who must never be fed and the poor farmer who starves him.

KAZ was born in Hoboken, NJ, and now lives in Manhattan. He is the creator of Underworld, a weekly comic strip for adults, which has been collected in three books published by Fantagraphics. Kaz is also a regular contributor to Nickelodeon Magazine. He claims that The Hungry Horse, actually a variation on a story of Estonian descent, was told to him at a racetrack by a one-armed gypsy horse doctor.
