The Day I Disappeared JACQUES de LOUSTAL is the award-winning
illustrator of many European comic albums. He is currently working on a
comic story adapted from J. L. Coatalem’s writings, as well as
illustrations for Georges Simenon’s novels. He likes to collaborate with
writers, and was especially taken with Paul Auster’s The Day I
Disappeared . Jacques lives in Paris with his wife, their two daughters, and their Siamese cat. PAUL AUSTER has published novels, screenplays,
essays, memoirs, and poetry—including The New York Trilogy, Smoke, The
Invention of Solitude, and Timbuktu. He is editor of the
recent I Thought My Father Was God and Other True Tales from
NPR’s National Story Project. The Day I Disappeared is his first original comic book story. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Siri Hustvedt, their daughter, Sophie, and their dog, Jack. |
