What happens when two children’s wish for a day without school comes true.

POSY SIMMONDS grew up in Berkshire, England, and lives in London with her husband, Richard. She is the author and illustrator of the recent graphic novel Gemma Bovery and of the children’s books Lulu and the Flying Babies and FRED , whose film version was nominated for an Oscar. Mr. Frost was inspired by the memory of several chilly days last January, when the central heating wasn’t working.
