KAZ was born in Hoboken, New Jersey, and now lives in Manhattan. He is the creator of Underworld, a weekly comic strip for adults, collected into four books published by Fantagraphics. Kaz has recently written for Nickelodeon’s Spongebob Squarepantscartoon show. His half-baked Strange Cartoon Lesson endpapers were designed to teach youngsters how to draw cartoons while driving them nuts.
