MARC ROSENTHAL has illustrated many books for children, including The Absentminded Fellow and The Runaway Beard . With the Smithsonian Institution and the National Geographic Society, he helped create a traveling exhibition on geography for children called Earth 2U, which is now crossing the United States. Marc currently lives in the Berkshires with his wife, Eileen, his son, Willem, and Wayne the Cat.
